The Cybex Gazelle is an excellent option for parents looking to invest in an infant stroller that can expand with their family. It is a "modular" stroller or "convertible" stroller and can be set up in more than 20 ways to accommodate various seats, infant car seats, cots and cradles.
We love that the Cybex Gazelle is light and easy to maneuver making it perfect for parents who like to explore. It also has a huge storage basket underneath and a variety of attachments to allow parents to take lighter shopping items or groceries with it. It's a little more expensive than some other two-in-one prams but it's worth the investment as the quality and functionality of this model are top-of-the-line.
This stroller comes with a single-pull safety harness that makes it easy to secure your child into the seat. It also has a removable sun canopy with peek-a-boo and XXL panels. It also has a convenient parent tray to hold drinks, snacks and phones. The telescopic handlebar adjusts to suit the height of parents and the brake is easily accessible and safe for children to operate.
Our mom tester Sophie from London used this stroller with her two daughters aged 5 and 10 months. She used it on uneven, hilly terrain and cobbled roads and found it to be extremely comfortable and easy to move. The Twin Roo+ is a frame stroller with a minimalist design that provides car seat compatibility. It also has a large storage container. It is one of the lightest double strollers on the market. It weighs only 24 lbs. without attachments for infant car seats. It's quite light for a double stroller. It is slightly heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista V2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double.
The Roo+ is simple to use and comes with a handy quick-start guide. It is easy to put together and can be road-ready in just 10 minutes. It doesn't come with a canopy built-in, so your babies will need to wear their own sunshades if they require additional protection from the elements.
During our tests, we found that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that handled well. It can navigate most terrains, but it has issues on grassy areas and over gravel. It isn't easy to steer over and up 1-inch curbs. This stroller is not recommended to use on stairs or off-road, but its suspension system can assist to minimize bumps.
While the Roo+ has a large under-seat storage compartment but it's not easy to access without removing the infant car seats. This is a common issue with twin frame strollers, but Joovy does offer a separate baby carrier bag under the seat to aid in addressing this issue.
The Roo+ doesn't have a self-standing fold or cup holders. This is a small sacrifice for car seat compatibility and storage capabilities however we'd like to have more flexibility from our strollers. The stroller's flexibility in seating configuration is a huge plus. Parents can put their infant car seats either opposite directions or in the same direction, based on their requirements.
5. Delta Children LX Side by Side
Delta Children LX Side by Side scored highly in terms of weight and size folded. It is the best value double umbrella stroller we've seen in our review. It also scored highly for maneuverability, a key attribute for parents looking for a travel stroller that will fit in tiny spaces. The Delta is a basic model that isn't equipped with the features that other strollers we tried offer like a large storage basket or a deep recline. It's a great option for families with a tight budget or for those who require a second stroller on occasion, like for a trip to the Zoo.
The LX Side by Side is a lightweight compact stroller that's easy to turn and push. Its short frame, with swivel wheels in the front and padded shoulder pads ensure an easy ride. The multi-position reclining seat and cup holders for parents ensure that passengers are comfortable.
It also has a large European-style canopy which provides shade from the sun and some protection against light wind. It also comes with two storage bags as well as an all-around harness with five points for security.
The Delta was assembled in less than three minutes, which is the fastest time of all the test groups. The manual is standard and doesn't require any tools for assembly. It is among the lighter products in our test group. It folds flat, making it very easy to lift and carry.
